We’ve got something exciting happening behind the scenes at Ironwood Homes… and we’re finally ready to start sharing it with you.
We are putting the finishing touches on a brand new home model called the Willow. This new design is currently under construction in Mineral, Virginia, and our team has been hard at work exploring fresh layouts, new finishes, and thoughtful design features to make this home something truly special.
Designing a new model takes time because we’re constantly refining the details—from siding colors and floor plan flow to small architectural elements that elevate the overall look and feel of the home. Right now, we’re in the fun stage of tweaking everything so that when the Willow is officially revealed, it’s ready for you.
A Bold Exterior Design
Our first Willow model is already turning heads with its sleek exterior design. The design team selected a bold black siding color that gives the home a modern, clean look while still maintaining the timeless style Ironwood Homes is known for.
The goal with the Willow is to combine aesthetic design with functional living spaces, creating a home that feels both elevated and comfortable.
Interior Design Features We’re Excited About
We caught up with Ironwood’s head designer, Rochelle, to ask what she’s most excited about as the Willow takes shape.
“I’m really excited to introduce some arches to our homes. That detail in some of our transition spaces will be a fun feature. The kitchen will be elevated and have a featured hood vent, as well as some pantry and mudroom surprises. We can’t wait for the reveal.”
These small architectural touches—like arched transitions and statement kitchen features—add character and warmth while keeping the home functional for everyday family life.
Built in Mineral, Virginia
The first Willow model is currently being built in Mineral, Virginia, a growing area near Lake Anna that continues to attract families looking for space, community, and beautiful homes.
