We get a lot of questions about building an Ironwood Home in the Fredericksburg area. One of the questions always at the top of the list is, “What can I choose and customize in my new Ironwood Home?” And we get it – we all want options! We are what you would call spec home builders, which means less flexibility than with custom home builders.
However, we do have some excellent options for you to choose between with our builds. We thought it would be a good idea to highlight these for you this month. At Ironwood Homes, you have three models to choose from: the Boxwood, the Hemlock, and the Leland. And let us tell you, these are some fantastic models! Regardless of which model you decide to go with, you also have additional features from which to choose.
Granite Color for the Counter Tops – Colors come in three styles: lighter, mid, and darker. Whichever color you choose to go with, you will be increasing the value of your home. Granite tops are durable and an excellent look for your kitchen while entertaining your guests.
Kitchen Cabinets – On either side of the sink, you have the option to have open shelves or closed cabinets. Both look fabulous and will fit your particular style. Your guests will love it.
Hardwood Floors – Your new floors are available in two colors: Granite (gray and brown tones) and Provincial (lighter brown tones). We think these two colors will compliment any style and bring your new home to life.
Basement – We build all three of our models with a crawl space, but we can also add a basement for you. Basements can either be unfinished or finished. Either way, doubling your floor space is a win-win in our book and will provide you with ample space to enjoy your new Ironwood Home.
Exterior Style – Modern (no trim around the windows) and Contemporary (color siding with window trim). We love both these styles, and we know you will too. Both styles, and the variations with them, create a home that looks inviting and breathtaking.
During the process, we will also discuss the different styles you can choose from for the interior.
